Winemaking:
Grapes are macerated at a temperature of 25-29°C for 12-16 days. After malolactic fermentation the wine is left to mature in large, 1000 litre oak barrels (botticelle) and barrique barrels for at least 18 months.

Aroma:
Ripe and fruity, reminiscent of ripe strawberry, black mulberry, spices like pink pepper and cinnamon, dark chocolate, cedar and rose.
Taste:
Ripe and fruity, structured and long. The mouthfeel is silky, velvety, slightly spicy and juicy.
Food and wine pairing recommendation:
Elegant and aromatic, it pairs well with poultry, baked salmon, spicy cheeses and veal.
