Participating in Trade Shows Abroad

Düsseldorf, Verona - March, April 2005 - This year we presented again our wines in two international wine exhibitions. In March, we were at the Prowein Fair in Düsseldorf, Germany and then in April we participated in Vinitaly in Verona, the largest wine exhibition in Italy.


Martinmas 2004

Koper, November 2004 - Martinmas on 11 November is the biggest Slovenian wine festivity. For many years, our cellar has been organising a special week of celebrations for this festivity. Visitors of Martinmas 2004, have consumed about 10,000 litres of wine in ten days. The traditional Martinmas celebration under the tent was opened by the Slovenian Wine Queen Vesna Bajuk.

Koper, 9 August 2004 - Dr Richard Smart, the world-renowned viticultural consultant from Australia, has held a workshop on modern trends in viticulture at our cellars and vineyards.

A visit by the President of Romania

Koper, 7 July 2004 - Our cellars hosted an important visitor from Romania: We welcomed the President of Romania. At first, President Ion Iliescu visited our cellars. Then, the President of the Board of Directors, Mr Nevijo Pucer, the Chief Oenologist and Member of the Board of Directors, Mr Iztok Klenar, and the Sommelier Mirjana Cupin, presented our wines. The President will be able to enjoy the Cabernet Sauvignon from our Capo d'Istria line at home, since we gave him a box in memory of our cellars.
