When we talk about quality wines, we are referring to wines with a protected geographical origin. The quality wines of our cellar are filled into unreturnable bottles and sealed with natural cork to preserve the wine's best features. In 2003, we equipped them with new labels to make them even more recognisable and named the line "Tastes of Istria in New Colours". Our quality wines are the best choice of all those, who want to enjoy a good glass of wine with their meal. All the wines of the line are dry.

REFOŠK
... The most requested Slovenian red wine ...
The ruby red Refošk is refreshingly full and sincere. Its noble bouquet prefers to combine with a lavishly set table, with cured or smoked meat products, red meats and venison.

MALVAZIJA
... The noble daughter of winegrowing tradition ...
For centuries the juicy Malvazija has been at home in the vineyards on the Slovenian coast just as in the Mediterranean. It goes well with fish, white meat and vegetables. Its aroma recalls acacia flowers, while its taste reminds of almonds.

MERLOT
... The richness of pleasant tannin ...
We destined the best-positioned vineyards to Merlot. It boasts a brick-red colour, a delicate and well-developed bouquet, a considerable amount of acids and a rich presence of tannins. It combines well with stewed beef, pasta or with hearty meat sauces and lighter venison dishes.

CHARDONNAY
... rounds off any dish ...
The noble Chardonnay has rich, but still soft acids, a fruity aroma and a full taste, which acts as a perfect complement to many gastronomic specialties. It loves the company of several cheeses, fatless meat, risottos and fish.

KABERNET
... a lucky blend of red sorts ...
The wine is a blend of the following sorts: 15% of Merlot, 45% of Cabernet Franc and 40% of Cabernet Sauvignon. All those who want a fully matured wine with fruity tones will simply love it. It accompanies perfectly either meat or stews, or any other specialty of the Slovenian Istria.
