The nose is super-clean and classy though a little closed, with touches of harmonious oak, blackberry fruit and cassis and is just starting to develop a little complexity. To taste, this is a powerful wine but it has lovely fruit purity with juicy blackcurrant notes and a hint of liquorice, followed by nicely textured grainy tannins and a long finish. This is a classy Cabernet Sauvignon by any standards with lots of promise for the future too.
