The Terms and Conditions define the rules for shopping through the "online wine shop" (hereinafter referred to as the "online shop"). The Terms and Conditions also deal with the rights of the user or buyer and the business relationship between the user or buyer and the shop as a provider or seller. All information published on this website is for general information purposes only and does not constitute legal advice or any other service. We will endeavour to ensure that all data and information published on http://www.vinakoper.si/si/spletna-vinoteka is accurate and up to date, but we are not responsible for any errors in the operation of the website or for any delay in updating the information. The General Terms and Conditions of www.vinakoper.si/si/ are in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot-UPB2), the recommendations of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and international e-commerce codes.

Vinakoper, d. o. o. Vinakoper, d.o.o. Koper is entered in the Court Register in Koper. The Registration Number is: 1/1175/00. Vinakoper is a VAT taxable person and is also registered for internet sales.

The essential characteristics of the goods are described for each specific product in the online shop.

Any product offered in our online shop and in stock will be dispatched within a maximum of 2 working days. In the case of a custom-ordered product or in the event of force majeure, we will inform the customer of the expected longer lead time in due time by e-mail.

All shipments are insured and if your parcel is damaged, we will replace it with a new one or refund your money.

The postage price is calculated on the basis of the weight of the parcel and is displayed when you enter your customer details. The postage is charged according to the following price list.

If the addressee is unreachable when delivery is attempted, a written notice shall be left informing the addressee of the time and place of collection. The carrier - Pošta Slovenije - is responsible for any loss or damage to the consignment.

The Buyer must notify the carrier or the Seller of the damage or loss of the Shipment. The products in the online shop are only accessible to natural persons. Goods can be ordered in Slovenian, English, German and Italian.

The Online Shop reserves the right to refuse any order which it determines that it is unable to be fulfiled under the terms and conditions and with the information available to it.

All prices on the website are quoted in EUR and include value added tax (VAT). A reduced price is a reduced regular price valid for a fixed or indefinite period. All prices quoted on www.vinakoper.si are product prices and do not include shipping costs. The price displayed at the end of each order is made up of the cost of purchasing the goods, the shipping costs and any payment charges. The Seller reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. The price published at the time of placing the order shall apply. All prices are valid only for electronic ordering of products via the online shop.

The Seller shall provide the following payment methods:

• payment by credit card at the time of an order; the Buyer can securely pay for the wine ordered by a bank card. The following payment cards are accepted: Visa, Mastercard, and Maestro.

The shipping costs have to be added to the online price of the product. The shipping costs include packaging, postage and transport. Postage is charged before the order is confirmed.

The Buyer selects the desired product and clicks on the "add to basket" button. Once the product has been added to the basket, the amount is visible in the basket. If the Buyer does not like the selected product, he/she clicks on the CART button, where he is presented with the "edit cart" selection window and selects the " X " button.

If the Buyer wishes to continue with the purchase (wants to buy products), he/she clicks on the "ONLINE VINOTEKA/WINE SHOP" button. Once the Buyer has selected all the desired products, he/she clicks on the "CHECKOUT" button.

At this point, the user registers, which leads to the second step where the order can be reviewed and confirmed. Once the Buyer has confirmed the order (click on the "place order" button), it is no longer possible to change the order via the website.

After placing an order, the Buyer receives an e-mail notification that their order has been accepted and is being processed.

The Buyer is responsible for the information provided in the process of order execution. The Seller shall not be liable for any delivery errors due to incorrect address.

When the order is delivered, the Buyer receives a contract (invoice), which must be kept. The Seller keeps an electronic copy of the invoice sent in its database. The Buyer may request a copy of the contract (invoice) by sending a request to spletna.trgovina@vinakoper.si. The contract (invoice) will be resent to the Buyer at the desired address (e-mail address or conventional postal address).

The delivery time for Slovenia is generally 2-3 working days.

Ordered goods will be delivered by the service of the Post of Slovenia. 

The Buyer may lodge a complaint if the goods do not have the characteristics explicitly promised by the Seller, if the Seller has sent the wrong products, in case the quantity is incorrect or in case of any other deviations from the Buyer's order. The Buyer may claim the goods within the statutory time limit and under the conditions for claiming a material defect. In the event that the Buyer notices upon receipt of the shipment that the item or package is physically damaged, is missing contents or shows signs of opening, the Buyer hall initiate the complaint procedure with Pošta Slovenije or the Seller.

Vinakoper complies with applicable consumer protection legislation and do our best to meet Buyer expectations. Should any complaints or claims nevertheless arise, please forward them in writing to the following e-mail address: spletna.trgovina@vinakoper.si.

We will endeavour to resolve all complaints (and disputes) amicably, and the complaint handling process is confidential.

The Buyer shall have the right to notify the Seller (to the contact email address spletna.trgovina@vinakoper.si) within 14 days of receipt of the goods that he/she withdraws from the contract, without being required to give a reason for his/her decision. The only cost to be borne by the Buyer in connection with withdrawal from the contract shall be the cost of returning the goods. The goods must be returned to the Seller within 15 days of the date of the cancellation (of the purchase).

The goods received must be returned undamaged and in the same quantity and form, unless they have been destroyed or defective. Refunds will be made as soon as possible and at the latest within 14 days of receipt of the withdrawal notice. The refund shall be paid into the Buyer's transaction (personal) account, which shall be communicated in the notice of return of the goods.

The goods shall be returned to the customer at the Buyer's own expense (except in the case where the Buyer has received destroyed or defective goods) to the company's address at Šmarska cesta 1, 6000 Koper, Slovenia.

The Buyer may download an electronic withdrawal form from the website or send another unambiguous statement clearly indicating that he/she is withdrawing from the contract by e-mail to spletna.trgovina@vinakoper.si.

The Seller shall use the appropriate technological and organisational means to protect the transmission and storage of personal data and payments.

Buying and paying through the Vinakoper online shop is secure. You can pay with a payment card (Visa, MasterCard and Maestro). Secure authorisations and payment card transactions are ensured by the Nestpay interface, which transmits the information to the bank. Vinakoper does not store personal and payment data on a server. Vinakoper has a contract with an online payment provider for the purpose of providing online payment services. All transactions carried out in the online shop are protected by the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, which is managed by the service provider. The Buyer guarantees that all data provided are accurate and true and shall be liable for damages resulting from inaccurate or false data.

The Seller shall endeavour to establish an effective system for handling complaints and resolving any disputes. The Seller shall comply with applicable consumer protection legislation. The user (Buyer) may submit a complaint to the following e-mail address: spletna.trgovina@vinakoper.si.

The complaint procedure is confidential.

In the event of litigation, the jurisdiction is held by the court of Vinakoper’s place of registration. Vinakoper does not recognise any out-of-court consumer dispute resolution provider as a competent forum to resolve a consumer dispute in accordance with the law governing out-of-court consumer dispute resolution.

Wine and spirits may only be dispensed and delivered to persons over 18 years of age. Therefore, the Buyer must be of legal age at the time of placing the order. In the opposite case, the Buyer shall withdraw from the contract. By agreeing to the General Terms and Conditions, the customer/user confirms that he/she is over 18 years of age. Warning by the Minister of Health: Drinking alcohol to excess is bad for your health.

The online shop is intended for natural persons only.
