Harvest: Exclusively manual harvest in early October
Situation at harvest time: The 2013 harvest was marked by dry weather and beautiful autumn. The harvest was done in sunny weather. The content of grape berries was already partially concentrated, and the pips and strawberry skin were phenolic ripe.
Processing: The grapes were carefully spread and macerated for 12 days. After pressing and biological deacidification, the wine matured partly in new and partly in used 225 L barrique barrels for two and a half years.
Color: Extremely intense ruby color with garnet edge.
Aroma: Intense notes of ripe dark fruit, blueberry jam, red pepper, dark chocolate and juniper berries with a pleasant aroma of selected wood.
Taste: In the extremely rich and complex taste of the wine, we discover notes of ripe blueberry, cherry brandy, dark chocolate and sweet spices. In the aftertaste, we are accompanied by sweet velvety tannins and a pleasant noble note of wood.
