A deep black-red wine, still youthful in appearance. It has a complex nose, with notes of bilberry, raspberry and damson, with good oak integration and a hint of clove spice. To taste, it has very typical Refošk structure: firm and with an almost steely backbone. It’s linear rather than rounded, with fine but structured tannins and fresh acidity. Still young but would go well with full-flavoured savoury dishes already.

- Aroma : The intense, ripe fruity scent of blueberries, cherries, prunes and blackberries blends beautifully with notes of white pepper, chocolate, vanilla and the sweet scents of burnt oak wood.
- Taste : Pleasant softness, playful with gentle lactic acid, escalates into a full and long taste. The rich structure, noble tannins and herbal spiciness in the aftertaste are the perfect basis for a longer life of the prestigious ruby.
